At Volt Outpost, we work closely with SunGold Power to ensure a fair and consistent return process for all solar inverters, panels, LiFePO₄ batteries, and off-grid power systems. SunGold Power’s manufacturer policy takes precedence, and all returns are processed in accordance with both their terms and Volt Outpost’s store policy.

Order Cancellations

• Before Shipment:
• Orders may be canceled within 24 hours if not yet shipped.
• Payment processor fees are deducted
• After Shipment: Orders cannot be canceled once they have left the warehouse.

If an item is out of stock, we will notify you. If no response is received within 15 days, the order will be automatically canceled and refunded.

30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery if your order meets the following conditions:

1. Quality Issues / Damaged or Incorrect Items

• Volt Outpost covers all return shipping costs.
• Products must be returned with original parts, packaging, and documentation.

2. No Quality Issues (Customer Choice)

• Item must be brand new, unopened, and unused in original packaging.
• Customer pays all shipping costs (both original & return).
• A 20% restocking fee applies (or total return cost—whichever is higher).

Important: Opened, used, or installed solar inverters, panels, or batteries without a confirmed defect are not eligible for return.

Freight & Oversized Product Returns

Many SunGold Power products ship via freight.

• For customer-choice returns, items must be palletized and freight-ready for pickup.
• Improper packaging may result in additional deductions from your refund.
  

Non-Returnable Items

• Installed or used equipment
• Products damaged due to improper installation or handling
• Items returned without original packaging or accessories

How to Start a Return

1. Contact support@voltoutpost.com with:

• Order number
• Proof of purchase
• Photos or videos of any defect or damage

1. Our team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with instructions.
2. Return the product to the address provided in the RMA—unauthorized returns will be refused.

For Canadian shipments, allow extra time for customs clearance.

Damaged Shipments

Warranty Coverage

• Warranty Period: 12 to 36 months depending on the product type (coverage starts on the original purchase date).

• Eligibility: Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

• Carrier damage

• Product different from the advertisement

Customer-Paid Returns if returning for other reasons.

Partial Replacements: If only a component is faulty, SunGold Power may ship a replacement part under warranty instead of replacing the entire unit.

Exclusions

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

• Misuse, abuse, modification, or accidental damage.
• Use outside normal residential applications.
• Unauthorized repairs or tampering.
• Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) after delivery acceptance.
